Here it is folks! The debut video for the first single from the Spoons “New Day New World” album. Entitled, “The First & Last Time”, this is the first of three videos planned by the band. A trilogy of sorts.

This new album plays on the band’s earlier edgy electro-80s sound and evokes the fun, pop sounds of their biggest hits while transporting them firmly into 2019.

The band is celebrating the release of their new album with a sold out live concert on Saturday evening, March 23rd at The Great Hall in Toronto, ON. If you haven’t yet, you might still be able to find a ticket here. Show is 19+, doors at 7pm.

The first single “All The Wrong Things (In The Right Places)” is sure to be yet another anthem for longtime and new fans alike. An on-line contest had people from across the country submit their chants for the song’s chorus to be included in the final mix.
It’s a new day and a whole new world as the Spoons prepare to tour across Canada this summer playing all of the hit songs they are known for…from Nova Heart and Arias & Symphonies to Romantic Traffic, Tell No Lies and Old Emotions, plus so many great songs from their new album
The album was produced & mixed by Jeff Carter. The touring band includes original members Gord Deppe and Sandy Horne and long time band mates, Casey MQ on keyboards and Chris NcNeill on drums.
