Spoons Release New Studio Album

“New Day New World” is the first studio project to be release by the Spoons in over eight years. The new album plays on the band’s earlier edgy electro-80s sound and evokes the fun, pop sounds of their biggest hits while transporting them firmly into 2019.

The first single “All The Wrong Things (In The Right Places)” is sure to be yet another anthem for longtime and new fans alike. An on-line contest had people from across the country submit their chants for the song’s chorus to be included in the final mix.

It’s a new day and a whole new world as the Spoons prepare to tour across Canada this summer playing all of the hit songs they are known for…from Nova Heart and Arias & Symphonies to Romantic Traffic, Tell No Lies and Old Emotions, plus so many great songs from their new album

The album was produced & mixed by Jeff Carter. The touring band includes original members Gord Deppe and Sandy Horne and long time band mates, Casey MQ on keyboards and Chris NcNeill on drums.
